PERSEVERANCE

The monkey does not conclude, after his first awkward landing, “I was not meant to jump, or to climb.†Perseverance gets him back up the tree.
When we look at successful people, we get the impression that they have known only success. But success stories are full of tales of rejection slips and bankruptcies and years of unrecognized work and thwarted ambition. We’ve heard the “overnight sensations†tell us how they toiled for years at their craft, waiting tables or working temp jobs until they finally met with success.
Look at baseball. Batting .300 is considered good, and that’s only getting a hit one time out of every three at bat!
