Maybe we did, too—and here we are, but where’s the limo?

We can’t simply want the accoutrements of success; we have to want to work. Hard. We do our children no favors if we encourage them to dream, but do not give them the tools they will need to achieve their dreams: discipline, tenacity, resourcefulness, a positive mind-set.

Call to Action: On this day, I will encourage my child to use her mental images of success to inspire her to do what she can today—and every day—to get closer to her goals.
